Pinta is a shy dog that is just coming out of her shell.  She will need time and patience to get to know you and become comfortable in her new home.  She would do best in a home with another dog to help her feel safe. Once she trusts you she is very loving and loyal. She is polite and friendly meeting new dogs, and friendly but cautious meeting new people. Treats help her warm up to you. She loves to run and chase the tennis ball at Fiesta Island, and very much looks forward to morning and evening walks.  She is used to sleeping indoors on our leather couch and in the morning loves to jump on the bed and snuggle.
She was adopted once, and though a series of accidents, ended up spending a night lost in a canyon. So her foster mom would hope to have her adopted by someone near Pacific Beach to help her transition safely into her new home.
