Meet Popeye, a beautiful Border Collie / Husky mix. He is about 1 year old and weighs around 36 pounds. He is microchiped.

Update from foster:  Popeye is a happy boy that plays a lot with my dog.  I've been using a crate to help with his potty training, and he has learned to use a doggy door.  He knows "sit" and we are working on getting better at "lie down", "turn around", and "shake".  He is still a young dog with a lot of energy, so obedience training and a lot of exercise will help make him an even better dog.  An active family and/or a home with another high energy dog as a playmate would probably work best for this pup.  Popeye is sometimes mouthy, and we are working with him to reduce this behavior, but for now a dog-savvy home with older or no children is recommended.  Popeye is an affectionate dog that loves to be loved, run to play fetch, tug of war, ear rubs, being held, tummy rubs, and falling asleep on or against you.  He's got a lot of personality and is happy to be the center of attention.
